Workshops · Pricing
Good learning.
Should be accessible.
Pricing for professional learning can feel opaque. A number appears. You are left guessing what it covers, whether it is worth it, and why it costs what it costs.
This page is different. Every option below comes with a plain explanation of what you are actually paying for and why the structure is built the way it is. The goal is not to convince you. It is to give you enough information to make a decision that genuinely fits your school.
Pricing is the same across all four CARE pillars: Culture, Agency, Roles, and Experiences.
How pricing works
Starter, Mid, and Full reflect the same service priced according to your circumstances. The three factors that determine your rate are lead time, location, and complexity.
Starter
Local, early, first visit
You are based locally or nearby, you have given 6 or more weeks lead time, and this is a first engagement or a single group. Minimal preparation and travel required.
Mid
Standard, with travel
Where most bookings fall. Travel is involved, lead time is 4 to 6 weeks, and the engagement is with up to two audience groups. This is the most common rate.
Full
Tight timeline, high complexity
Under 4 weeks lead time, multiple groups, significant preparation, or conference events. The Full rate reflects the additional work required to deliver well under pressure.
For first-time visits, the Starter rate applies with 4 or more weeks lead time. Bookings made with less notice are welcomed at the Mid rate.
Option One · Off-the-Shelf
School pricing: the whole team, one shared moment
A private school booking is the most focused investment you can make in your team. The day is designed around your school and your team's actual starting point. No one is wasting time on what they already know. No one is lost because the content assumes experience they do not have.
This is also where the numbers start to look very different per person. A group of 30 sharing a full-day workshop is a per-person investment most schools are genuinely surprised by. The more people in the room, the more that number shifts in your favor.
School pricing is designed to make it possible to bring your whole team into the same conversation at once. That shared starting point is what makes the learning stick.
| Format | Group Size | Starter | Mid | Full |
|---|---|---|---|---|
| 1 Day Workshop | Up to 30 | $2,000 | $2,400 | $2,800 |
| 1 Day Workshop | 31 to 50 | $2,400 | $2,800 | $3,200 |
Travel and accommodation billed separately at cost. Every booking begins with a free 30-minute discovery call.
Option One · Off-the-Shelf · Partnership
School partnership pricing: two schools, deeper value
Some of the best professional learning happens across schools, not just within them. When two schools come together for a shared workshop, something shifts. Teachers hear a different perspective. Leaders realize the challenges they face are not unique to their campus. The room gets richer.
School partnership pricing exists to make that possible. One school hosts. Both schools advertise the session. The group is larger, which means the cost per school drops, and the diversity of the room goes up. That is a genuine win for every person who attends.
This option works best when both schools are working on a shared CARE pillar and are genuinely ready to learn alongside each other. A discovery call is the right place to find out whether it is a good fit.
| Format | Total Group Size | Per School | Notes |
|---|---|---|---|
| 1 Day Workshop | 20 to 40 | $1,400 | Each school contributes equally. Minimum 20 participants combined. |
| 1 Day Workshop | 41 to 60 | $1,200 | Deeper discount at larger group. Both schools benefit equally. |
Travel and accommodation billed separately at cost. Both schools share responsibility for advertising the session.
Option Two · Off-the-Shelf
Per person pricing: open enrollment, open community
Not every school is ready to book a full day for their whole team. Sometimes it is one passionate teacher who wants to go first. Sometimes it is a small group curious enough to try. Sometimes a school wants to send a few people to test whether the CARE framework is the right fit before committing to anything larger.
Per person sessions are open enrollment. A hosting school provides the venue. Both the school and thinkchat advertise the session to the broader community. Educators from different schools come together around a shared CARE topic.
The more people who attend, the less each person pays. That is not a marketing trick. It is the straightforward result of spreading the same fixed costs across a larger room. Bigger groups genuinely cost each attendee less, and they tend to produce richer conversations too.
There is a minimum workshop amount to cover overhead and preparation time. Even if your group is smaller than expected, that floor ensures the session can still run well for everyone who shows up.
| Format | Group Size | Per Person | Notes |
|---|---|---|---|
| 1 Day Workshop | Up to 24 | $175 | $2,400 minimum applies (equivalent to 10 participants) |
| 1 Day Workshop | 25 to 50 | $150 | Group discount applied automatically |

Option Three · Virtual
Online pricing: full learning, zero flights
Online workshops are not a lesser version of in-person. They are a different shape of the same learning, and for many schools they are the right shape entirely.
There is something that happens in a smaller online room. People speak more. Questions come more freely. The energy is different when you are in your own space, with your own cup of tea, and you do not have to perform professionalism for the person sitting next to you. Vulnerability travels better when you are not in a suit.
Sessions run as two three-hour blocks with a 30-minute break between them. That structure gives teams time to process before the second half begins. It is not just a scheduling convenience. It is part of how the learning works.
Online pricing is fully inclusive. No travel. No accommodation. No surprises. What you see in the table is what you pay.
| Format | Group Size | Starter | Mid | Full |
|---|---|---|---|---|
| 6 Hour Online Day | Up to 30 | $1,600 | $1,900 | $2,200 |
| 6 Hour Online Day | 31 to 50 | $1,900 | $2,200 | $2,500 |
All online prices are fully inclusive. No additional costs ever added.
Option Four · Bespoke
Bespoke workshops: built entirely around your school
Every off-the-shelf workshop has been designed with care. It works. But it was not designed for your school's specific history, your team's current dynamics, or the particular moment you are in right now.
A bespoke workshop starts with research. Where has your school been? Where do you want to go? What is the story your team needs to hear told back to them in a way that makes the next step feel clear? That research takes time, and the design that follows takes more time still. That is what the design fee covers.
The result is a session that fits so precisely it does not feel like professional development someone brought in from outside. It feels like it came from inside. Because in the ways that matter, it did.
Bespoke is not always available. Presentation design done well takes real time. When it is available, it is worth asking about early.
What to expect
A bespoke workshop begins with a detailed conversation about your school's context, your team's starting point, and what you most want participants to walk away with. From there, the session is built specifically around you.
Bespoke workshops require a minimum of 8 weeks lead time and a one-time design fee of $600 to $1,200 depending on scope. Standard workshop rates apply on top of the design fee.
